So you want to make a viral video hit?
Ok, you’ve tried everything. Filmed yourself whaling on your air guitar to Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody. You danced in a Speedo infront of city hall. Dropped a Mentos in a bottle of Coke at your recent family reunion and got a perfect shot of Aunt Mildred’s reaction. Yet so far the most views you’ve gotten on you tube is pushing 150 (not much to consider it viral).
Well, Mike Laurie takes an in-depth (and humorous) look at what the viral formula is by reviewing past hits and what made them hits. Take a look and get inspired (although, the suggestions I made above might actually work… given the right person and presentation).
